In 1993, Uppertex was challenged by the RED CROSS to create a high performance and functional fabric to use in covering medical vessels and assist in paramedical drops of much needed food and supplies. We successfully manufactured a flag bearing the widely recognizable Red Cross by solving the issues of bleeding of red dye on white material and also had great strength to withstand tearing from strong winds and variable weather conditions worldwide.

From the beginning, we pride ourselves on being both innovative and practical. Over the years, Uppertex has expanded its expertise and technology to include many highly functional materials suitable for outdoor sports activities, durable uniforms and other sensible work wear.

As a world class supplier, we have coordinated a multi-location, efficient manufacturing chain to meet growing demands. At our home office, we have a certified laboratory to support the work of the R&D team. We have devoted ourselves on perfecting dyeing and finish as a core operation.
